LACKIE14 Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 i'm assuming that most of yous will already know this but here go's As we all know the Iron Crosses 1870 1st Class has been copied, as are 1870 Iron Crosses 2nd Class, some are manufactured near perfect. however simply looking out for one piece construction, the thing that indicates these fakes every time plus the poor detail of the CROWN, poor detail of the overall Iron Cross and the fact that the copies are not made with a Silver Frame normally keeps us safe. Even that now appears to be indanger with copies with a fine silver frame being made in Budapest Hungary, with J.Wagner S. 14 Loth mark. i have already seen these on some american dealers sites, simply copy 1870 1st Class Iron Cross marked J.Wagner S. 14 Loth to google and click images. 1200usd alot of cash for a fake just put that in incase anyone is thinking of buying the 1870 iron cross. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
