I only went to see the Dogfight between a Spitfire and a ME 109, It turned out the 109 Developed a problem and could'nt make it so in the end it was down to 2 Spitfires, took some more pics. leon21 Posted September 18, 2011 Author Share Posted September 18, 2011 Same place as before Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Keal, it's about 5miles from RAF Conningsby were the BBMF flight is kept. It's owned by to brothers who bought the WW2 Airfield complete with building vehicles ect and preserved it in memory to their lost brother who was stationed there during the war, It was a Lancaster Base he and his crew were lost on a bombing raid. This event is held once a year and has become very popular.
