Kenny Andrew Posted July 15, 2011 Author Share Posted July 15, 2011 Hi Greg, yes it is weird, there appears to be scuff marks running along the edges however the blade has not been sharpened , not sure how those marks would have got there? Kenny Andrew Posted July 10, 2013 Author Share Posted July 10, 2013 Here is another just in today WW2 German 1933 Pattern SS Dagger with Partial Rohm Inscription (Code: 1737) £ 5,995.00($ 7,692.18) Early SS 1933 pattern dagger, maker marked Boker, Solingen.Blade features partial Röhm inscription with only the name removed and maker mark still intact.(Röhms name was removed from all daggers after the purge of Röhm in 1934 during the night of the long knifes) SS motto and inscription are both sharp and crisp.The nickel silver mounts have the SS gruppe number I to lower cross guard.Black ebony grip is in excellent condition with only one very slight indentation to the rear. There is no owners number to the cross guard.Scabbard is complete with black leather hanging strap and belt loop and has over 90% of it's original black painted finish remaining.Very scarce dagger only 9,900 were ever awarded.
