Greg
Anyone have suggestions on where to get decent Balsa Wood Aircraft models? I use to build these when in my teens. Well my Neice is 13 and turning into a bit of a nerdy engineer and wants to learn how to build aircraft (brilliant!). So I want to get her some of the basic starter craft (and she wants cool things not boring Piper cubs).. I once built a Grumman Helcat as my first balsa model and it rubber band powered and brilliant. I want to get her similar then work up till she can do the radio controlled but am open to suggestions how/where to start.
Graeme
I always used to go to Wonderland Models in Edinburgh. Here is a link to the Balsa Wood kits on their website. http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/brands/guillow/
Dave
Jamiesons and Leisuretime in Falkirk have a selection. I don't know about this new Modelzone in Glasgow. They might too.
Greg
thanks guys, not sure if I can get into Edinburgh anytime soon, but plenty of ideas there. And looking at the Guillow models just has me wanting a few for myself too!
