Greg
As promised, the first of several new items for me fresh out of Germany. This was a birthday gift from my wife's side of the family. White metal of some sort, too light to be lead but it isn't pewter either I do not believe. It stands about 6 cm. The soldier carries an MP40, has an overseas cap on and has bloused trousers with mountain style boots and a long tunic and breadbag on the back. The wounded soldier is in overalls. No markings at all, I'd gather it is wartime or just earlier?
Kenny Andrew
Interesting item Greg, never seen anything like that before, looks like he might be a paratrooper with the long tunic
