leon21
Welcome to the forum Thoran98, I would say it is a MK4 helmet rivets on the MK4 helmets were lower down the side than the MK3 helmets which were higher up. These helmets were produced by three companies. Briggs Motor Bodies Ltd ( BMB ) of Dagenham Fisher & Ludlow Ltd ( F&L ) of Castle Bromwich Ruby Owen Co Ltd ( RO & CO ) of Leeds Looks like the rivets have been replaced by nut and bolts. hope this helps.

There is no difference in the shape of the outer shell of the helmet, is there? Original mk4 shell?
leon21
Yes there's no Difference in the shape of the shell, only were the rivets are on the side to tell them apart yes its an MK4 shell. Even the liners were the same held in place by screw bolt and washer they used on the MK2 and MK3. In the 1950s they changed the liner in the MK4s to the detachable lift and dot release principle.
