Fritz Posted October 2, 2023 Share Posted October 2, 2023 Wehrpaß for Andreas Beirith, geb. 13.8.1940 in Marienfeld, Oblast Dnjepropetrowsk (Russland) Andreas was put on Ersatz Reserve I, but was never required to serve. He left for Canada in the mid 60s, where he stayed for five years, returning home. Andreas' ancestors emigrated to Russia in the reign of Catherine the Great. They fled back to Germany in Summer of 1944 during the German retreat. Andreas studied in Hamburg and later worked as a free lance translator and interpreter for English. The document had allegedly the signature of Himmler! Can't see this, there is an illegible signature under i.A.
