paulchen Posted July 27, 2023 Share Posted July 27, 2023 I've seen one recently marked to Royal Engineers, with the War Medal and Victory Medal for 145 pounds. The Star has a slider bar and rose. Father Alfred William a Ships Pilot, Mother Sarah, brother Arther James, sister Ada Beatrice. Marriage 12 July 1919 in Cowley Oxford profession Soldier R.E age 26. To Elizabeth Ada Jameson Born 31 Dec 1892 age 26. Children in 1939 Census are Harold J born 22 May 1920 ( Soldier Regular Army ). John W born 6 Feb 1929 ( at School ).
