Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen (ISA), WW2 medal

Hi everyone,

I have acquired an Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen (ISA) medal. I have been told it should be real. The medal itself is not magnetic, and so far, I have read that it should be made of silver, meaning it makes sense that it is not magnetic. However, the 'needle' on the back is magnetic. Furthermore, there is no marking on the medal. What do you guys think, is it real?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

Mid war, made of Zink, pin is most likely steel, test if magnetic, if not, probably nickel, never silver. It is real.

Hi Paulchen,

Thanks for a quick and brief walk through, and verifying the validity of the medal.

Have a nice day.

The silver version is much more common than the bronzed type. But still a nice find.
