HJ honour badge- notoriously hard to identify - good or bad.

Again very hard to tell from photos , the pillow crimp looks like it might be OK but the badge is very worn especially around the rifle yet the finish seems still intact which would make me think ground dug badge which has been refinished. The HJ Honour award badge maker marked M1/70 is considered fake by the HJ experts, whither this is correct or not who knows, but it will be tough to sell once condemned as a fake unless new information comes to light.

Hi Kenny

Thanks - I didn’t have much hope for the army flak and the HJ honour came with a DJ marksman button marked M1/123 and an HJ gold shooter marked M1/102 - both of which are considered fakes by the HJ boys.

Still, as I said in my first post, they don’t owe me anything.
