Gildwiller1918
The Russian Tupolev Tu-2 Bomber was first flown in 1941 and was a twin engine bomber that handled like a fighter, it was fast and maneuverable. Naturally this aircraft was modified to meet the demands of the war and no less than 37 variants were made. One such variant was the TU-2sh which had a compliment of PPsh 41 machine guns loaded into the bomb bay positioned at a forward 30 degree angle to be used for ground attacks. This version had 88 of Russian PPsh weapons with 71 round drum magazines. Another variant, also called the Tu-2sh had a 76mm cannon installed in the nose to use against enemy armor. This model and the aforementioned type were both experimental with no information on how many were produced. Interesting design with the submachine guns, however since each gun on held 71 rounds, it would not last very long in a strafing run.
