Gildwiller1918
Here are some of the WW1 German postcards I have, very nice and detailed ones of allied tanks, mostly destroyed. As they are numbered, im guessing they are part of a set that one could purchase. The damage that some of these vehicles experienced as well as to what happened to the crew is staggering.

Fritz
Part II Photos - Württemberg Wilhelm II., King of Württemberg wearing the uniform of the (Prussian) Garde-Husaren-Regiment in Potsdam. He was à la Suite to the Regiment, was entitled to wear the unform with the rank of a General. The following set of photos came from one source, Württemberg troops: Württembergisches Pionier-Bataillon 13, Cannstatt Mountain Troops. Collar patches with an "S", ski or snowshoe troops Reservists or recruits of Grenadier-Regiment Königin Olga Nr.119, Stuttgart. Photo taken at Cannstatt. The picture above is probably of Reserve-Infanterie-Regt.119, which wore no Litzen on the collars. On the second picture, Grenadier-Regt. 119 - the cuff Litzen have been omitted, due to rationalisation. Grenadier-Regiment 119, taken at Cannstatt Infanterie-Regiment Kaiser Friedrich Nr. 125, Stuttgart

Eddieq
Bought a bundle of documents and these photos/postcards were with them. The first photo has a pencil annotation on the back saying (in German) - Corporal Training Class 1914/15. observations would be welcome as I know nothing regarding WW1 uniforms etc.
Fritz
Can you make a photo of the inscription on the back of that card? The first photo shows two standard fieldgrey uniforms at the centre of the picture? The dark double breasted tunics are not standard, they look like the Württemberg tunics worn till 1892. Most of them have the old M.1888 rifle with M.1871 bayonets, all secondary armament at the time. Most of them are wearing the M.1908 cartridge pouches, which were standard, two are wearing captured French ammunition pouches. The second photo shows an infantry man wearing a modified M.1908 tunic, the cuffs are the modified type. The trousers appear to be the corduroy Ersatz type. He is carrying the latest M.1898 rifle and wearing standard nailed marching boots. The third picture with wounded soldiers wearing Lazarett clothing. The last photo is dated Christmas 1927, so is postwar Weimar period, and they are wearing the 1921 pattern tunic, which is seldom seen today. The 1916 steel helmets have a Prussian black/white colour shield on the left side.

Top right, a soldier stationed in Diedenhofen, likely Lothringisches Infanterie-Regt. 135, he is wearing the Kaiserpreis for musketry on the right sleeve.
