Another soul remembered

this is his full entitlement

the victory medal

and the British war medal

which as I have checked his medal index card

means as there was no 1914/15 star , he joined in 1916,

its a pleasant change to find a set that has not been split up,

by a loss or the set broken up to make more money,

I would point out ,

the intrinsic value to me is meaningless,

I wont pay over the odds to unscrupulous seller,

no matter where they are,

but! I collect them for a variety of reasons,

those being to save them from the melting pot,

or sent abroad, but to keep them together,

and post here and on my facebook group,

as a permanent reminder / memorial to the brave service men /women,

who have served this country,

so they are never forgotten.................................................
