We approached a small paper shop opposite a bakery where my sister bought several scratch cards, after not winning anything she asked "Why don't you buy a scratch card?" I replied "I'm above gambling (Except poker, and horse races)" After about a minute of my pretentious jargon she talked me in to buying a scratch card... long story short. I WON £100.
