RAF635SQ
Hi all, my grandfather gave me this the other day, he found it in his shed. He says that my great-grandfather brought it back from Burma during WW2, he was a sergeant in the British army, something I have only just found out. It is a prized family possession, it is one of the few things my great-grandfather left before he died. I never met him, he died many years before I was born so sadly I have no other info on where and how he found it. He never spoke of his time in the war I am told. Anyway my grandfather asked me to find out any info I could on the sword so that is why I am posting this, any info on it would be greatly appreciated as I have no idea of its history or role and we would love to find out its history. Kenny Andrew
Not really our thing but looks like a Burmese Dha to me , we used to get offered them allot usually by people saying they had a Japanese sword. Not worth as much as a Japanese sword but still a nice item
