Pic 1 Captured Wellington Mk 1c ( RAF serial L7842 ) in service with the Luftwaffe,( probably at the test center at Rechlin c 1941. L7842 was delivered in Mid 1940, it was lost on 6 Feb 1941 while in service with RAF No 311 Squadron, on a mission to Boulogne. The Type 416 Wellington Mk 1c was the first main production variant, which added waist guns to the Mk 1a design. A total of 2,685 were built at Weybridge, Chester and Blackpool, the Mk 1c had a crew of 6, a Pilot, Radio Operator, Navigator/ Bomb aimer, Observer/ Nose gunner, Tail gunner and Waist gunner.
