Dave
I bought this book "Feldbluse, the German army Field Tunic 1933-45" by Jean Philippe Borg & Laurent Huart a while ago and have just finished reading it. It is a lavishly illustrated book on the Field Grey tunics and how they evolved in that famous period. Photos are large and clear and show exterior shots and interior adding detail shots where appropriate. The variations through the 30's are covered as well as th M36, M40, M42, M43 and M44 tunics. Waffen SS and the use of captured tunics is also covered. Good book for collectors, modellers or historians. I did not know there where so many changes in the 30's. Gives the background rational to the tunic ie the make the German soldier look taller and smarter. The materials and shades of fieldgrey are discussed and shown. I would recommend it if you are interested in WW2 German subjects. Dave.
