    Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Soldbuch to Panzer Obergrenadier Arthur Buchheim who served in 4th Company,replacement Batallion of the Leibstandarte. In his photograph he is wearing his SS tunic with slip on LAH shoulder cyphers. On 29th June 1944 he was transferred to the Stab II Batallion ,Panzergrenadier Regiment 35,16th SS Panzergrenadier Division Reichsfuhrer SS.His 2nd Batallion was involved in one of the worst War crime atrocities in Europe when his unit commanded by SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Anton Galler entered the village of Sant'Anna di Stazzema on the morning of 12th August 1944 and murdered 560 villagers and refugees. At least 107 were children. He was issued this 2nd pattern Soldbuch while the Division was stationed in Bologna Italy, before it was moved to Hungary and finally Austria where the Division surrendered to the British at Klagenfurt. He was transferred from the 1st to the 2nd Batallion Staff Company with pages 2 and 23 signed by Obersturmfuhrer Karl Hennefeld former Co Adjutant of CO 10 and 3. Included is his Fuhrerschein (Driving License) signed by an Untersturmfuhrer. Two photographs, one showing a man in Luftwaffe Uniform possibly his brother with writing to the reverse ,and another of two women, perhaps his mother and sister are also included.
