This grenade was developed in 1917 to counter the German egg grenade and it quite small in comparison. It was a cast body with a 5 to 7 second fuse (depending on the MK variant). The filling was typically Alumatol, or Amotal. Height is 102mm, width 41mm. The fuse for this grenade used an internal percussion delay fuse mechanism.
