leon21
Here we have Hitlers favorite car. Michael Froehilch a Dusseldorf classic cars specilist has found Hitlers bullet-proof touring car after charting it's postwar travels from Austria to Las Vegas and back to Munich. It was Hitlers favorite car ,the one he used most often for his Parades. It was first bought by a farmer near Braunschweig, then sold and spent decades in the basement garage of the Imperial Palace Casino in Las Vegas. it was then sold to a Munich brewing tycoon. The blue Mercedes 770 k model number plate IA 148 461 was ordered for the Fuehrer and Chancellor of the Reich in 1935. Only 88 of the series were ever made, the car shows all the special modifications made for Hitler who had to be driven because he had no Fuehrenschein ( drivers licence ). The 1935 edition custom made vehicle could fetch more than 10 million Euros.

Here's Hitlers 1938 Mercedes Benz 770k model Cabriolet, it has a fully bullet proof body, bullet proof windows and a mine proof underbody. But there was no possibility to protect the hood,so Hitler was only secure below the belt. The second car is a Grober Mercedes W150/770k 1943 model, only 10 of these cars were produced and only 3 are known to exist. The car was used among others by Heinrich Himmler and was found at the end of the war at the Obersalzberg. This vehicle has central door locking for emergency cases to prevent the opening of the door from outside. The number plate IA-235388 is Berlin Polizei Reg Bez, both cars are on display at the Teknicmuseum Sinsheim. Pic 1& 2 are of the 1938 model.and Pic 3 a invoice for one of Hitlers cars. Pic 4 & 5 are of the 1943 model.
