  1. Verleihungsurkunde - award document for the Bavarian Militär-Verdienstkreuz 3. Class with Swords, dated 4th October 1917 for a Reservist, Franz Königbauer in 1. Feldartillerie-Regiment Prinz Regent Luitpold, based in Munich The regiment was raised in 1824 and belonged to the I. Bavarian Armee-Korps The document bears the printed seal of the order and has a (facsimile) signature of von Hellingrath Philipp von Hellingrath was Bavarian Kriegsminister and Ordens-Grosskanzler from 11. December 1916 till 8. November 1918, see photo.   2. A promotion document dated 12. June 1901 in the period of Regency in Bavaria, 1886-1912 for Vizefeldwebel Wilhelm Deetz as Leutnant der Reserve - in the "12. Infanterie-Regiment Prinz Arnulf" in Neu-Ulm, I. Bav. Armee-Korps There is a large paper seal impression below the text, hardly visible in the photo. Text is in the old handwriting of its day: Im Namen Seiner Majestät des Königs Seine Königliche Hoheit PRINZ LUITPOLD des Königreichs Bayern Verweser haben den Vizefeldwebel Wilhelm Deetz auf in ihn gesetztes Vertrauen und Glauben an die geleistete Eidespflicht zum - Leutnant - in der Reserve des 12. Infanterie= Regiments Prinz Arnulf allergnädigst zu befördern geruht und lassen demselben gegen- wärtiges mit dem beigedruckten Kriegsministerial-In- siegel versehene - Patent - um diese Gnade allenthalben beweisen zu können, ausfertigen und zustellen. Gegeben in der Haupt- und Residenz-Stadt München den zwölften Juni Eintausend neunhundert eins.
  3. A citation, award document (Verleihungsurkunde) for Gefreiter Louis Hecht of Infanterie-Regiment No. 449, dated 24. September 1917. Whereas the Iron Cross was otherwise awarded, the Grand Duchy of Baden had this medal as it's equivalent, this being the Silver Service Medal on the ribbon of the Militärische Karl-Friedrich-Medaille, as in wartime, (Silberne Verdienstmedaille) otherwise awarded on a yellow peacetime ribbon. The printed form is finished in a typewritten script with the details of the recipient and the award, and has the printed seal of the Ordens Chancellory and signed in ink by Dr. Hugo Freiherr von Babo. Dr. Hugo Freiherr von Babo, Wirkl.Geheimer Rath, Exzellenz, Kammerherr des Großherzogs von Baden, was the Ordenskanzler, and head of the Badische Ordenskanzlei at the time. (1857-1924) A picture of the said decoration is included (unclear photo) The medal was awarded from 1908 till 1918 and bears the portrait of Grossherzog Friedrich II. von Baden. The document paper has a watermark of the firm Gebrüder Buhl in Ettlingen/Baden. This firm still exists today.
