  1. Two British bayonets Long bayonet for S.M.L.E. No.1 Mk.III, manufactured by Wilkinson. The root of blade has various ordonnance marks, a broad arrow and a crowned GR and 1907. Original leather scabbard with steel fittings each with an RE marking within a ring. Original blueing and some patina to fittings. S.M.L.E. weapons were in regular use till at least 1943 until replaced by the new No.4 Mk.I. Spike bayonet for Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.I. Side has designation and possible Commonwealth ordonnance mark.Scabbard is of blackened steel, with a zinc scabbard throat. No patina.
