leon21 Posted November 28, 2016 Share Posted November 28, 2016 During World War 2, The London Auxiliary Ambulance Service was operated by over 10,000 Auxiliaries mainly women from all walks of life. They ran services from 139 Auxiliary Stations across the London area below are some images related to this service. Photo 1. A scarce Enamel Badge dated 1939 and maker marked "Roden London". Photo 2 Of a group of women Ambulance drivers. Photo 3. A women Ambulance driver outside the garage. Photo 4. A certificate of merit. Photo 5.
