stewy
Hi folks, hope you like this. A soldbuch to a civvy butcher. He served with Pz Jag Abt 543 (sfl) & 643 as a driver. I guess his butchery talents were noted & he transferred to a mobile butchery/slaughter house, Schlachterei komp 83 (mot. Part of Pz. Div 3. He was awarded the BWB, KVK2 w/s, KBA in bronze & EK2. The EK2 was for fighting in the siege of Budapest in '45. Stewy
Kenny Andrew
very nice Stewy, my uncle was a trained butcher and always very popular with the other panzer crews, Erichs talents always ensured they were one of the best fed units in the German army

stewy
I was surprised to see it up for grabs Kenny, they did have Marder's too. In a way it must've been a result to be moved from a Pz Jag 1 (frontline target) to pretty much a supply unit, as a slaughterman. Only to have to go back to the frontline at the end of the war.
