This is an epitaph to all officers of Ostpreußisches Grenadier-Regiment No. 3, who fell in the 1914-1918 war. The regiment was based in Königsberg i./Pr., present day Russia. The document is undersigned in the Name of the Officer Corps of the former Grenadier-Regiment König Friedrich Wilhelm I. (Ostprpeuß.) No.3 van den Bergh - Oberst und Regimentskommandeur - The losses listed are officers only. Apart from this, over 5.490 ncos and other ranks fell.
