Fritz
Certainly not SS, they always had a silver weave on a black diamond patch. If black, Panzer related, otherwise dark green or fieldgrey for army. Depends on the colour of the Blitz, if red then artillery, pink for panzer etc. Each troop had a signaler Blitz in their own Waffenfarbe.
leon21
Have identified it as army Signaler in anti-tank unit ( pink blitz on dark green patch ).
Fritz
If pink, then correct. Panzer troops had at least two uniforms, the normal field grey as well as the black Panzer outfit. This would be for the fieldgrey tunic. However, black uniforms and headdress did sometimes have the insignia on a darkgreen background, eg., Panzer sidecaps sometimes have this colour - on backing of eagle and cockade. Of course, as you say, it can be a Panzer-Abwehr unit.
Fritz
Here are some Laufbahnabzeichen of the SS. Always in silvergrey on black Salmi, including the Sígnals badge
Fritz
This article should be under the topic, "uniforms", as it is a uniform trade badge, insignia and not an award
