Das Gau-Ehrenzeichen Wartheland, leider existieren keine genauen Angaben darüber, warum und für wen diese Ausführungen in Brillianten geschaffen wurde. Der berühmteste Träger des Gau Ehrenzeichen war Kapitänleutnant Wolfgang Lüth, Träger des Eichenlaubs mit Schwertern und Brillanten zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes. Nur 2 Stücke bekannt.

Unfortunately, there is no precise information as to why and for whom this brilliant design was created.
