Eric Hathaway
Hello, after cleaning out our church bellfray I found an old Range finder that I think is from ww1 but maybe ww2. Is there anywhere I could get someone to look at it and give me more information on it? I could post some pics if you wanted. thanks Eric
Greg
Hi Eric, It should hopefully have a data plate somewhere on it, lacking that some long Id numbers or British Military proofs near a broad arrow mark possibly... in any case, photos or description of any of this would help a bit. Kenny Andrew
Hi Eric, yes you have a WW2 British rangefinder , we have a similar one in the shop for £120 although we have had it a while , ours is more grey in colour which makes me think it might be navy ,yours is clearly army and looks in better condition also nice as it has the case. Yours looks quite short compared to ours ,how long is it?
Eric Hathaway
Hi Kenny, I measured it at 3 foot long. is there anywhere i could get it valued?

Kenny Andrew
Hi Eric, one is really enough for us so we probably wouldn't buy it, would could offer to sell it for you or you could try ebay however it's always a bit of a gamble doing that.
