Unknown Belt and Y straps

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased these items and I was wondering what peoples view on what they are/ belong to.

I don’t think the box and bag goes with the belt and y-straps but they came together, I could be wrong though.

The belt and y straps are nicely marked (see photos) and the y straps and belt go together.

Thoughts please!

It looks like a belt and cross strap for NSDAP political leaders. The box does not belong to the set, but ideal as storage for the belt. Probably been in that box for a long time and it has kept it mint.

I thought that in the first instance Fritz, but it is definitely a y strap and not a cross strap. There are three clips.

Ive had a limited cast around for pictures of y straps in use on an NSDAP leader and not found a picture yet- I probably need to look harder.

I see now, it is a special type of y-strap for that category.

Never seen anything like these before, however being an officer it could be a private purchaise item he has asked to be made specifically for him, the box could be correct too. You will need to keep searching the net to see if you can find any similar ones in use. Certainly unusual, if you do find them post them here Eddie

SA Standarte Feldherrnhalle officer?

Almost identical but a bit lighter tan and a gold buckle on mine instead of silver in the picture

Undoubtably similar. The silver in the picture could have been gold, the finish has simply worn off, especially on zink based metals.
