Looking for any information on Levi Strauss supplying US Army visors in WW1

Hello...figured it out.  Leopold Strauss and Company of Indianapolis.  Levi did not have a company there.  Most collectors have seen Leopold's stuff as marked LS&Co.

Thanks to all.

Interesting problem, I found this book after I saw your hat and am going to get a copy. You may be interested in it also as a reference source.  It apparently has USMC hats. This is a Schiffer high quality HC, but like all Schiffer reference books it costs big bucks $65.   I hope to obtain a used copy for less. This is an older book.  It does not reference WW I hats but  covers WWII  visor hats.

The Schiffer web page also listed a German hat book. I have none of these expensive collectables, but may also be of intrest.
