Pictured are my 'Eiserne Kreus II. Klasse (EKII)' Iron Cross Second Class (right) and an 'Eiserne Kreus I .Klasse (EKI)' Iron Cross First Class (left). As you probably know, these awards were presented to a serviceman of the German Armed Forces for an act of valor in combat. Both crosses were manufactured by the firm Rudolf Wachtler & Lange (maker mark 100).
