Herzogtum Sachsen-Meiningen, Medaille für Verdienst im Kriege, 1914/15

Found this today at a local antique mall, a WW1 era Herzogtum Sachsen-Meiningen, Medaille für Verdienst im Kriege. The ribbon it came with is correct, but for the miniature version for combatants, so I will need a replacement. Unexpected find.

This is the first class example as a "cross", the second class was a medal in similar design wthout the crown, rare to find. Very nice, these are normally quite expensive. The "B" is for Herzog Bernhard von Sachsen-Meiningen, he followed Herzog Georg in 1914. Nice miniature ribbon, the full size ribbon might be hard to find.

I found a decent original ribbon for this medal, the green along the edge has faded, but it still visible, I did also get a modern replacement ribbon as well.
