Fritz Posted August 7, 2022 Share Posted August 7, 2022 I can't tell from the photo if magnetic, you would have to test with a magnet. Judging by the appearance, I would say that it is iron. The ring should be without a seam, they were welded. Very often is the maker's number in the ring.
