Kenny Andrew
Here's an article about the Bunker that appeared in this weeks Sunday Post.
Dave
Well done Kenny. A good write up. I would not have trusted the Funday Roast as they specialise in scaring grannie stories. Shouldn't you have donned some woad for the picture and shouted "Fredom" in an Australian/Hollywood accent?
Greg
Well put and fair article not trying to slant anything about stocking weapons or Nazi stuff... bravo to the press for once!
Ross
Good article! Sunday Post renowned for reporting very local issues rather than spreading its nets wide as with this one for a change. Many years ago I heard a story demonstrating how parochial the Post was. Legend has it that when the Titanic sank the headline in the Sunday Post allegedly was " Dundee Man Dies at Sea." 2
Kenny Andrew
Yes I thought it was a good article too and we have had lots of feedback from it. Usually I don't get involved with these sort of things but when we were approached I decided because of the credit crunch to give it a try , but this will be the last one for the moment. They are very hit or miss, this one hit but we had one the week before which missed for us anyway. It was a very well written article but the reporter seemed allot more interested in the German stuff, in saying that it was fair, I almost died when I saw him writing down the names of the German CD's to be honest we don't sell many of these and they are historic but in spite of this I thought his article was balanced. It was actually quite funny at my expense although I don't know where he got the "small man " from I was taller than him

Kenny Andrew
Yes the picture is not great I do look like a small man dressed in black, next to those dummies! hate getting pictures taken for the press, either look startled or pissed in them
Graeme
Could have been worse. At least you remembered to take the armband off before they came.
Fritz
That's an interesting story about the fake German helmet you bought and returned. Do you remember what sort of helmet this was?
Kenny Andrew
Wow had forgotten about those articles, yes the helmet was Prussian Jager Zu Pferde almost the exact same as the one we have in stock at the moment only it was brand new. I got it years ago at the Nottingham arms fair and only noticed in the car on the way home that it was brand new. Thought I was going to have to drive back down to confront the dealer as I didn't even know his name. Thankfully Mike Long who ran the Nottingham arms fair was a good friend of mine and said he would speak to the dealer. The next week I got a call from Mike asking me to send him the helmet, and the following week I received a cheque from the dealer for the full amount. Perhaps an honest mistake from the dealer, but if I did not know Mike I would probably have been stuck with it.
