JamesT
I've had this group for some time but have never been able to find out what became of Meckenstock. My documentation ends just as the war starts. The assumption is that he remained an SA functionary throughout the war. Firstly his medals including miniatures and matching ribbon bars and party badge. He was also entitled to a 1914 EK1 (shown in wear in a couple of the pics) and the SA Treffen badge. Next an overview of the documents. Two party membership books, SA ID cards and various other documents. The SA Sports badge has numbers that match both the large Urkunde and the smaller Besitz-zeugnis. The WW1 Milkitarpass is to his father.
Fritz
Nice allround set. Are you sure the WW1 Militärpaß belonged to his father? It could well be his own, as born 1897.
