Evan
Hi Everyone! Does this Iron Cross first class (WW1) look authentic to you? It has a manufacturing stamp of KO at the back as well. Thanks, -

Fritz
That looks like a real silver example, lots of wear and age patina. KO is one of the most commonly found markings on these. KO is said to be Klein & Quenzer in Idar-Oberstein. Others state this as "Königliche Ordenskanzlei", which I think is less likely.
Evan
Thank you Fritz and Kenny. I have just begun collecting and want to make sure what I purchase is authentic. Thank you again for your help.
