don
the War Merit Medal (German: Kriegsverdienstmedaille), set up in 1940 for civilians in order to offset the large number of 2nd class without swords being awarded. It was usually given to those workers in factories who significantly exceeded work quotas. One of my favourite single medal bars.Somone just took their medal and put on a ribbon bar.Still nice don

Fritz
No, not Austrian, just the normal parade mount style of the day. Bluegrey cloth probably for a Luftwaffe recipient.

It is characterised by the use of the Bogenband. The Bogenband is suspension ribbon that is arched at the bottom to form a “U”-shape. Nice one.
