WW1 Era 12 cm shell casing

Here is a WW1 Era shell casing for the 121.92mm FeldHaubitze. This gun was developed by Krupp in Germany, and the French company Schneider also supplied a similar gun of the same caliber for the Russian Army. The gun itself was designated the M1909.

This example by Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe. I remember visiting some people on a farm in Buckinghamshire, England about 20 years ago, they had an identical example, which the grandfather brought back. See last picture - there is a stamp of the Kaiserliche Marine, a crown over "M". the crown is not the Prussian crown, but the Imperial crown
