WW1 US Victory Medal

Recommended Posts

Here is a boxed example of the US version of the WW1 victory medal. Most allied nations had similar designs and the ribbon was pretty much the same in all medals. The US medals had the optional addition of battle clasps that could be added to show participation in a campaign or battle. Army personnel could wear as many clasps as they were entitled to, Naval personnel by comparison were only allowed to wear one clasp.
