Image of a Marine–Korps Flandern Officer at the front. These troops were used from the coast to the Yser river throughout the war. Second image is of an NCO with a Mützenband 'Kaiserliches Marinekorps'. Of note, the second image, the man is wearing a trench dagger as well. Last image is members of the 1ste Matrosen Regiment.

Nice image showing soldiers with 3 A7V tanks, named Baden, Cyklop and Gretchen. Rare to see a grouping of these tanks together as there were only 20 made.

Early war image of MG08's being used in an anti-aircraft role. Note the thick leather straps on the men, these were used to move the sled mount for the gun.

Interesting image of German soldiers using a periscope mirror, never seen this version before. Looks like it just sits on the buttstock and the shooter manually pulls the trigger.

Image of a Dreyse machine gun and crew. This gun was introduced in 1912, and was named in honor of Nikolaus von Dreyse, the inventor of the German needle gun. It was patented in 1907 and rights were assigned to Rheinische Mct-allwaren und Maschinenfabrik A.G. of Dur dorf. It was designed to be a light machine gun, weighing 37 pounds, minus the full 4 liter water jacket. The gun was updated in 1915, however did not perform well, this was corrected in the 1918 update, in which the gun exceeded expectations. By 1914, the Germans decided to go with the MG-08, and around 3,000 Dreyse's were built. Another modification to the Dreyse was to modify the tripod mount to accept the MG 08/15 bipod. It also used the same cloth belts and ammo cans.

Kaiserliche Marines, members of 2. Werftdivision - Kiel 1918. They are equipped with Gewehr 71/84's, not uncommon for troops in rear areas.

Austro-Hungarian mountain troops, they certainly seem ready for anything. The M95 carbines are slung on their shoulders.

German led Kamerun soldiers in South West Africa. They appear to be armed with the 1871 model Mauser, which would not be uncommon for colonial troops.
