WW2 German Luftwaffe Uniform

Here are some shoulder board pairs for a engineer unteroffizier, slip on types. There are two lengths, I have tried the longer one, and it fits my great coat perfectly. Possibly they had longer and shorter lengths to correspond to the wearers size? The larger the chest and shoulders, the longer the shoulder tabs? Interesting.

Here’s a uniform from the same branch of the Luftwaffe that I’ve just picked up.

A Majors tunic with trousers and cap. All items marked to same individual and therefore it should be easy to find out who he was etc.

That's a very nice set, could you make a photo of the label inside the collar of the tunic? I see there is a Hamburg maker, and also a clearer picture of the other label please, there is the name of the wearer,
perhaps I can decipher it.
Shame about the distortion of the peak on the cap.

Hi Fritz,

will do so in the morning- yes it looks like the peak has been subject to heat- still, I love it when all the parts match I.e. are from the same person.

I'll try and make out the name and ask a few more people. It looks like Jemnik
or Jerinik, but not sure.

Yes Fritz, the Luftwaffe personnel did also work Luftwaffenbeute under the Reichsluftministerium as well. It's hard to tell with this one, especially with to name or history. The troops that worked for the Air ministry had the unenviable task of salvaging downed and disabled planes for repair or recycling. I have read that the black waffenfarbe was used for Luftwaffe construction/pioniere. There does not seem to be a lot of in depth information online so far...do you have any sources on your end?

Examples of Luftwaffe Engineer insignia, I think this would have been the technical personnel responsable for repair and maintenance of aircraft, above, equiv. rank of Hauptmann, below, Leutnant.
The black insignia would be more for Bau.
