Buster Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 Something out of my comfort zone, I got this para illumination mortar yesterday ! its post war but exactly the same as the ww2 one that was used from 1937 till 1981 . My brother was in the RHF mortar platoon for 10 years and said that he used the 81mm/3 inch round . I gave it a careful clean as the paint is water based and comes of easily, then a few coats of spray Matt lacquer to protect the lettering. 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
