M1903 spare parts carrier

Recommended Posts

This is my M1903 Springfield spare parts carrier. These were used typically from 1911-1917 and were  carried in the butt stock where the nickle plated oiler went. The carrier consisted of a firing pin, cocking piece and extractor, which was concealed in the wooden carrier. Not very common today, and getting rather expensive as well. But for an early WW1 collection, a must have.
