Aleksandr I. Reigned 1801 till 1825.  His death in Taganrog in 1825 was accompanied by mysterious circumstances.

Very good documentary, I remember watching the film Nicholas and Alexandra when I was still at school, the closing moments stayed with me ever since. I've not seen it since then but this has put me in the mood to watch it again.
