Some postcards and illustrations in other collections, mainly Royalty. I was told that these pictures were from the estate of a former Hofdame of the Royal Household.

Prinz Georg Friedrich is also by right, legal heir to the throne of Russia as well as Prussia. The Russian Orthodox Church
recently eradicated his rights.

Prinz Wilhelm v. Preußen, the eldest grandson of the Kaiser, renounced
his rights to the throne. He fell on 26. May 1940 near St. Quentin
His last resting place, together with other members of the family
is in the Antikentempel in Potsdam

The Prince was the next in line to the throne of Russia.

His son and apparent heir, who had been married to Prinzeßin Donata,  had a fatal accident at a Bundeswehr manoevre.

Prinz Oskar von Preußen, 5th son of Kaiser Wilhelm II. (centre) with Gräfin Ina Maria von Bassewitz and their sons. His eldest son, also named Oskar, fell in the Polish campaign, 1939.

Prinz August Wilhelm v. Preußen (AuWi), 1887 - 1949, 4th son of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Imprisoned for 3 years after the war by the Americans, he died the following year.

The special black Cuirasses of the other ranks were a present to the Regiment by Tsar Aleksandr I.
c. 1819, and were mosly only worn for the annual Frühjahrsparade in Potsdam, they differed from
the normal service cuirasse. Former saw nearly 100 years of service.
