Kenny Andrew Posted October 8, 2018 Share Posted October 8, 2018 The market has been flooded recently with these type of enamel signs, any originals I have seen tend to have a double border, although not in all cases, you have to be very careful with these. They did exist but allot are now coming out of Eastern Europe. Here is an original with the double border. Originals usually have a maker mark to the reverse, as far as I know Auer of Berlin were best known for making gasmasks.
