G.S.M. for service in Palestine 1945/48 to A Christie No 14162012 signalman, of 1st Infantry Divisional Signal Regiment which served in Egypt and Palestine from 1945-1948. He was attached to the 15/19th The Kings Royal Hussars 4th Royal Tank Regiment part of the 6th Armoured Division from June 47 to October 47 in Palestine. The blue felt backing on his 2 piece 2nd pattern cap badge worn from 1947 to 1952. is linked to the 94th Berkshire Yeomanry Signal Squadron based in Windsor an Army Reserve unit, his other cap badge was in service from 1921 to 1947. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
