Here we have a MTCAM ( Mechanised Transport Corps Auxiliary Member ) cap badge, these were worn

by young girls who were not old enough to join the MTC proper, but learned vehicle maintenance  etc

in their spare time. The badge was made by J.R. Gaunt of London.

Next we have the MTTC ( Mechanised Transport Training Corps ) this badge was issued in 1939.

The name was changed in 1940 to the MTC ( Mechanised Transport Corps ) and a new badge was issued.

Below are the three badges.

Never seen any of these before!  I think they must have been worn as a broach, or lapel badge, or maybe on a beret?
