Fake U-Boot Badge, WW1

Recommended Posts

Here is a copy or fake WW1 U-Boot badge, which I hope nobody will be fooled by. It was produced about 20 years ago for the German firm Göde, which marketed them very cheaply as obvious copies. The front of the badge looks reasonable, apart from its new appearance, the rear has been deliberately designed with the Göde trade logo and a pebbled surface so as not to be confused with an original Let's hope these will not be described as an unknown or rare maker. Discovered recently on E-Bay
