Buster Posted August 31, 2016 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Here's my 1906 FN Browning pocket pistol, its manufacture date is 1938-39 so not long before the Germans invaded Belgium and took over production The pistol & its cartridge were designed by the John Moses Browning in 1906, and adopted by Fabrique National of Belgium, the pistol was designed from the outset for the commercial market, but many military and police establishments adopted it as well plain clothes police & pilots, Dating one of these guns is done via the serial numbers and by production changes at different times of the pistols life. 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
